Walking is Free
Walking is Free. I have noticed in guidebooks they always list some activity you can do for free. I am in Buenos Aires,Argentina at the moment. This is the second time ive been here, and I have yet to go to a museum or paid event here. Just riding the subway here is endlessly interesting Like all cities, the different neighborhoods all have there own charecter. San Telmo has awesome grafitti and musicians playing in the street. Palermo has real nice modern malls. This is all to me living art. You can experience it - for free- by just walking around - or a cheap subway ticket --- so enjoy!

skype for travelers
Skype has a great service for worldwide travelers. When i decided to travel down to South America, my parents couldnt use skype because they dont have a computer. Skype has a telephone service i use with my Nexus 7 tablet. It gave me a local number where i live in California, and it enables my parents to call me anywhere I am just making a local call. I can also call anyone anywhere. So far it has cost me less than $8.00 a month, a low price to pay for my moms peace of mind!

San Telmo as Artistic Neighborhood
My apt in San Telmo. A great old (as in oldest ) section of Buenos Aires The most artistic place in Buenos Aires by far, real lively. Im enjoying being in my owm place, I prefer apartments to hotels when traveling much more relaxing, you csn make some food you like, and its nice living elbow to elbow with the locals. I found this one on Airbnb, but i have also had good luck doing home exchanges with homexchange.com If you are not staying in hotels, learn a few words in the local language..the kid in the market down the street might not know any english.. Well this is just the beginning of my trip, cant decide where to go next. Barioloche ?
